Credits are your Vacant currency — 1 credit = 1 edited photo. You buy credits in bundles upfront, then use them whenever you shoot. Credits never expire so you can buy a large bundle and use it at your own pace. When you sign up you automatically receive 10 free credits to try the service.
What do I get with my 10 free credits?
Your 10 free credits let you shoot and submit up to 10 photos for professional editing — that's enough for a complete small unit or the key rooms of a larger property. No credit card required to sign up or use your free credits.
Do I need photography experience to use Vacant?
Not at all. The Vacant app is designed for anyone — no photography experience needed. Built-in level indicators, rule-of-thirds grid lines, and automatic wide-angle lens selection ensure every shot looks professional. The app guides you room by room through every space.
What does "24-hour turnaround" mean exactly?
From the moment you submit your photos, our editing team has them professionally edited and delivered back to you within 24 hours including weekends. You'll receive a notification and can view and download your photos in the app or from your online dashboard at dashboard.shootvacant.com.
What kind of editing is included?
Every photo is professionally edited including HDR blending for balanced exposure, sky replacement where needed, brightness and color correction, and window pull to show the view outside. The result looks like a professional photographer was on site.
Is Vacant available on my phone?
The Vacant iPhone app is launching on the App Store soon. Sign up at dashboard.shootvacant.com to get early access and credits before launch — so you're ready to shoot the moment the app is available. An iPhone 11 or newer is recommended for best results; it includes the wide-angle lens used for HDR bracketing. Android support is planned for a future release.
Do credits expire?
No — credits never expire. Buy a bundle when it suits you and use them at your own pace. There are no monthly minimums or commitments.
What if I'm not happy with the edited photos?
